Hi, I'm Gayle
I’m passionate about making nutrition less complicated. In essence, helping people simplify food choices, understand what it means to nourish oneself, and pay attention to the body's signals.
My philosophy is one of simplicity; small changes create significant lifestyle shifts over time.
I bring a unique blend of professional training, life experience, and a personal practice of living a balanced, healthy lifestyle. I hope to empower others to do the same.
My husband and I live in Little Silver, NJ, where we raised our 2 sons. I’m a founding member of the Jersey Shore Tri Gals, and I love spending time outdoors running, hiking, swimming and working in my vegetable garden.
Where my passion for nutrition began...
The birth of my oldest son over two decades ago, who experienced digestive issues as an infant, was the catalyst for my deep interest in the world of nutrition.
Over the years since then, I’ve attended numerous educational seminars at the Kripalu Institute, focusing on general nutrition, Ayurvedic health practices, and the brain body connection.
In 2017, I began to explore a hands-on approach to nutrition by attending the Academy of Culinary Nutrition, graduating with honors. This experience paved the way to train under a medical weight loss doctor helping coach clients through their weight loss journey.
My desire to take a deeper dive into the field of holistic nutrition led me to the Nutritional Therapy Association, where I graduated as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.
Working with Gayle has been such a positive and transformative experience. Gayle has empowered me with a deeper understanding of my body and how to nourish it in a way that truly supports my well-being.
Her kind approach, reminding me to embrace progress over perfection, has taught me to be more empathetic toward myself throughout this lifestyle change. This has resulted in greater consistency, leaving me feeling more energetic, happier, and in tune with my health.
I couldn’t be more grateful!
Julia
Gayle is wonderful to work with. She helped me incorporate reasonable changes to my diet and lifestyle, and never told me I couldn't do anything but talked about making simple changes in easy-to-understand terms.
I've seen several nutritionists, but she was the first one who really explained the "why" of it all. As we went food shopping, she explained why some foods were better than others. She never spoke down to me or made me feel bad about my food habits, but she gently encouraged me to make some additional changes.
Gayle has a special way of listening, making you feel heard and encouraging you on the journey of being a healthier version of yourself.
Pam
Gayle’s presentation to our small group of mental health clinicians brought awareness to the link between mind and gut.
We experienced clear understanding, open dialogue and inspiration to help ourselves, one another and our clients.
Thank you, Gayle, for your dedication and leadership in our local community around this important health issue.
